Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Private Client Tax Director to serve as a trusted advisor on personal, partnership, trust, and estate taxes. You will lead planning, research complex matters, and mentor a tax team while cultivating client relationships and expanding service offerings.

The role emphasizes executive collaboration, client development, and staying current on regulatory changes to ensure exceptional service and growth across the Private Client practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 9+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
• Current CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings in reports.
• Review tax returns to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Build strong client relationships and provide strategic tax insights.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee project tasks and optimize resource allocation for timely delivery.
• Drive business growth through client retention and development.
