Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks a Senior Private Client Tax Manager to serve as trusted advisor on tax compliance and planning for individuals, families, estates, and foundations. You will lead client relationships, mentor staff, and oversee multi‑engagement projects.

The role requires deep knowledge of personal, trust, estate, gift, and wealth‑retention taxation and close coordination with other service lines. Mastery of research and writing is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related tax experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department
• Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA license or JD and bar admission
• Experience managing multiple client engagements

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations
• Develop and manage client relationships as part of proposals
• Participate in networking to expand business opportunities and client relationships
• Maintain expert understanding of client business/family structure to address concerns
• Assist with managing, developing, and coaching tax staff
• Review projects prepared by associates and seniors
• Delegate tasks and monitor engagement teams
• Use technology tools to improve work processes
• Research complex tax issues and clearly communicate findings in writing
