Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks an experienced tax professional to lead planning and execution of compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across diverse industries.

Responsibilities include researching complex tax matters, reviewing returns for accuracy, and building strong client relationships while mentoring a high-performing tax team. Willingness to travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 9+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or combination with corporate tax.
• Current and valid CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across industries.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings in clear written reports.
• Review tax return preparations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Build client relationships and deliver actionable tax insights and strategic solutions.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals and provide coaching and career development.
