Job summary

Toyota Tsusho Systems US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Private Cellular Engineer to design and implement DAS and Private Cellular solutions across North America.

You will ensure cellular/radio infrastructure reliability, analyze requirements, and develop architectures aligning with business goals. The role requires 8–10 years of telecom/network experience, strong TCP/IP and RF knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 8 to 10 years of professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence and persuade others.
• Experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and signal boosting solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying Private Cellular solutions (Private 4G/5G on licensed and/or CBRS spectrums).
• Strong understanding of Network technologies and TCP/IP protocols (LAN, WAN, WLAN) and firewall.
• Extensive experience with Wireless technologies, knowledge of RF and LTE Networks.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support Private Cellular initiatives including Proof of Concepts and Production deployments.
• Own and fulfill small to large Private Cellular projects; act as escalation point for issues.
• Design, test, and implement new Cellular/Radio solutions and proofs of concept.
• Assist with vendor and solution selection processes.
• Lead weekly project status meetings.
• Conduct site surveys and develop site plans for total facility coverage.
• Coordinate resources, track deployment progress and validate upgrades.
• Supervise site installs and hardware/software enhancements for Cellular/DAS infrastructure.
• Escalate operational issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Submit and track Change Management for all Cellular/Radio systems.
• Monitor systems for trouble areas and document root causes.
• Support service tickets during enterprise deployments.
• Engage with manufacturer support centers to resolve issues quickly.
• Create and maintain Operational Support Guides and other documentation.
• Travel to site as required for deployments, testing and validation.
