Job summary

Santander Private Banking International is seeking a Private Banker to deliver high-touch service to affluent clients, primarily focusing on Argentina. You will expand assets under management and deepen relationships while coordinating with investment partners to tailor cross-border wealth solutions.

The role requires a proven client-book track record, familiarity with KYC/AML, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve the bank's global wealth objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and managing a book of clients covering Argentina.
• Consistently meeting Asset Under Management (AUM) and net new money targets.
• Deep knowledge of investments, wealth planning, credit and risk management
• Expert in Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and cross-border regulatory frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, manage and retain HNW client relationships, expanding Assets Under Management (AUM) by acquiring new clients and deepening existing ones.
• Work in partnership with the product specialist teams across investments, credit, and asset management to provide tailored solutions to our clients.
• Provide real-time investment insights and flawlessly execute client portfolio decisions utilizing a deep knowledge of wealth management products.
• Develop targeted sales strategies, maximize cross-business synergies, and ensure regulatory alignment.
