This Hybrid role in Raleigh requires 6 years of experience researching, drafting, and updating policies, procedures, and manuals related to information security, privacy practices, governance, and compliance. You will collaborate with SMEs, legal counsel, compliance officers, cybersecurity teams, and leadership to ensure materials meet HIPAA, NIST, CMS, and DHHS

Qualifications

• Research, develop, draft, and update policies, procedures, guidance documents, and manuals for the Privacy and Security Office.
• Analyze policies to identify gaps, inconsistencies, redundancies, or misalignment with regulatory or operational requirements.
• Ensure written materials meet applicable fed., state & internal standards, including HIPAA, NIST frameworks, CMS requirements & DHHS enterprise policies.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex regulatory concepts into clear policy language.
• Establish and maintain version control, document tracking, and standardized formatting for all policy documents.
• Support communication of policy updates, including summaries, presentations, and training materials for internal audiences.
• Align policy content with organizational strategy, legal obligations, operational workflows, and statewide directives.
