Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Privacy Operations Lead to own the operational backbone of our privacy program across hosted, dedicated, and self-hosted deployments. You will translate complex privacy requirements into actionable processes, and partner with Legal, Security, and Engineering to prove compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience running assessments end to end and owning outcomes.
• Ability to translate privacy laws into concrete engineering requirements.
• Strong written communication for auditors, customers, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own privacy risk assessments, DP IAs, and transfer impact assessments end to end.
• Build and maintain data flow maps and records of processing across hosted, dedicated, and self-hosted deployments.
• Translate GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws and AI regulation into concrete requirements for engineering and GTM.
• Define the privacy requirements for product and infrastructure changes and drive implementation.
• Own the operating model for privacy controls: retention and deletion, DSAR, consent handling, and de-identification.
• Design and run operational auditing and remediation workflows to catch drift.
• Own subprocessor and vendor privacy review processes and DPAs.
• Provide privacy enablement: playbooks, self-service guidance, and training for Engineering, Support, and Sales Engineering.
