Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead a team of privacy engineers and advance privacy-by-design across the enterprise. You will oversee consent management platforms, cookie governance, and privacy library maintenance, while coordinating with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience.
Experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
Experience with consent management platforms, cookie governance, and web tracking compliance operations.
Technical understanding of tag management systems, cookie and pixel operations, and consent signal architecture.
Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills with stakeholders.
10%+ travel requirement.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers, ensuring operational excellence across CMP operations, cookie scanning, and privacy library maintenance.
Serve as the technical SME for privacy engineering, providing guidance and architecture input.
Oversee privacy technology stack evolution, including CMPs and tag management.
Partner with Data Strategy and Engineering to integrate privacy tech into enterprise systems.
Execute privacy compliance activities and monitor risk across the organization.
Onboard brands and acquisitions into Cox Automotive's centralized privacy infrastructure.
