Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Managing Senior Counsel to lead the privacy legal and compliance team supporting CVS Caremark. You will advise internal partners on HIPAA, privacy laws, data governance and incident response, balancing legal risk with business objectives.

You will manage colleagues on the privacy team, partner with attorneys across the organization, and help shape privacy contracting, regulatory compliance and data use programs to protect member information.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience focused on HIPAA/privacy in health care.
• Expertise in HIPAA and federal/state privacy laws.
• Privacy incident and cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with data governance and HIPAA data regulations, including de-identification.
• J.D. with admission to practice in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
