Job summary

CTG is seeking a Print Production Level 3 specialist in Midtown Manhattan for hourly consulting work. You will operate high-volume digital, color, print, binding, and finishing equipment, and manage QA throughout productions.

You will review customer files, schedule jobs, and ensure accurate document handling, while providing professional customer service and troubleshooting with staff and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-high school technology training or equivalent technical experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume digital, color, print, copy, scan, binding, folding, inserting, laminating, cutting, and finishing equipment.
• Process, schedule, track, and distribute high-volume print production jobs.
• Review customer files for fonts, image resolution, registration, formatting, and other production issues.
• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs.
• Receive, review, electronically log, index, convert, scan, store, and back up customer jobs.
• Integrate variable data into templates and optimize document design for quality reproduction.
• Provide customer service and interact professionally with staff, clients, and management.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with service personnel and third-party vendors as needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance, collect meter reads, maintain production/billing logs, and manage supplies.
