Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET program preferred.
• Experience with underground transmission systems and high voltage cables.
• Strong knowledge of standards (IEEE/IEC) and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end designs for underground transmission lines.
• Perform cable route analysis, feasibility analyses, and installation engineering.
• Produce and maintain specifications, guidelines, and standards for design, construction, and restoration practices.
• Oversee selection and installation of joints and terminations; qualify splice kits and accessories.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and diagnostics including VLF, Hi-Pot, and TDR.
