Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead and mature production test strategies across multiple programs. You will drive test readiness, define architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance.

The role requires a STEM Bachelor's with 10+ years' experience, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. Onsite work at the Tucson facility is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Leadership experience in fast-paced technical or manufacturing environments.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive decisions on test strategy.
• Experience with factory Test Equipment development and prove-in processes.
• Ability to work on programs requiring special program access.
• Must obtain/maintain ATF access if required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing test authority across multiple programs.
• Lead the implementation and maturation of production testing solutions.
• Define enterprise-level test strategies and architecture; drive readiness and improvements.
• Manage large-scale design, control, and improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Recommend engineering design requirements tailored to manufacturing processes.
• Propose process changes to meet cost, efficiency, and quality goals.
• Ensure QA procedures adequately evaluate products.
• Lead continuous process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost.
