Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer (Program Protection / Anti-Tamper) to join our elite SSE team. You will work on protecting Warfighter technology and lead security planning across systems in an agile environment.

The role is onsite at our Tucson campus with opportunities to influence DoD security architecture. Responsibilities include threat modeling, CPI assessments, and interfacing with customers to define SSE requirements and strategies while guiding

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience in technical leadership.
• Experience in System Security Engineering and cybersecurity for DoD programs.
• Experience designing and fielding real-time embedded security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Interact with customers to define SSE requirements and strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, schedules, and risk mitigation.
• Guide SSE architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and flow to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD release and export policies.
• Consult program management on SSE architecture and issues.
• Perform Task Lead duties including product owner and scrum master.
