Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer (Program Protection / Anti-Tamper) to join our Systems Security Engineering team in Tucson, AZ. This on-site role focuses on protecting Warfighter technology through SSE, cyber security, and supply chain risk management, influencing architecture and security planning across programs.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, ability to obtain DoD clearance, and strong leadership in security engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship.
• Experience in technical leadership.
• Experience in System Security Engineering, reverse engineering, Anti Tamper, cybersecurity or embedded security.
• Experience in real-time embedded security for DoD programs.
• Experience generating systems requirements and architecture artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and translate to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
• Consult program management with SSE architecture and issues.
• Perform Task Lead duties (e.g., product owner, scrum master).
