Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer (Program Protection / Anti-Tamper) for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will work within the SSE team to design and implement security concepts for DoD programs, aligning requirements with architecture and system-level plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 10+ years of experience, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, and implementation strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, task execution schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and flow those into subsystem implementation concepts.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
• Consult with program management on SSE architecture and issues.
• As needed, perform Task Lead duties such as planning and product ownership.
