Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking a dynamic Sr. Principal Engineer Systems to support a high-visibility capability upgrade program.

You will work across Systems Engineering disciplines to ensure objectives are met within schedule, cost, and performance, with onsite work in Melbourne. Responsibilities include developing system architecture and requirements, maintaining traceability, coordinating with supplier teams, preparing SE inputs for TIMs, and guiding verification approaches

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree with 8+ years of military/professional experience, or a Master's with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Current DoD Secret clearance or in Continuous Evaluation, ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR) and the V-model
• Experience with lab and system-level test planning and execution.

Responsabilités

• Support system-level and supplier SETR events and contribute to system architecture and requirements development.
• Maintain traceability and a robust verification approach across lifecycle phases.
• Assist with incremental capability thread definition and coordinate with specialty engineering teams.
• Prepare SE inputs for TIMs and program reviews; track tasks to closure.
• Participate in coordination between government customers and internal SE groups.
