Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in the SDS Division seeks a Principal or Sr. Principal Product Support Systems Engineer to support the Nuclear-Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include preliminary design, proposal development, and technology maturation to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. Candidates must hold a STEM degree with experience, US citizenship, and an active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible).

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Secret clearance, ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Experience with DoD weapon system support and system engineering.
• Knowledge of ballistic/cruise missile design and Navy programs.
• Bachelor's in STEM; advanced degree preferred for Sr. Principal level.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical contributions to SLCM-N team during TMRR phase.
• Develop requirements for manufacturability and maintainability.
• Lead technical proposals, CONOPS, risk assessments and baselines.
• Support compliant responses to RFP/RFS requirements.
• Collaborate across divisions to transition innovations to programs.
