Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Communications Capability Lead Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join the Sentinel program. The role will support the ground segment architecture and is based at Roy, UT; Bellevue, NE; Huntsville, AL; or Manhattan Beach, CA.

You will lead a small team to develop MBSE artifacts and ensure requirements traceability across the system. Strong collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders is essential, as you define and mature architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD.
• U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain; current clearance within last 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of systems engineers to develop MBSE artifacts for communications networks across Sentinel ground system.
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs’ design across stakeholders.
• Develop system requirements and ensure proper representation in the model.
• Develop architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
• Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
