Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Communications Capability Lead Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join its team in Roy, UT, Bellevue, NE, Huntsville, AL or Manhattan Beach, CA, supporting the Sentinel program.

The role leads requirements definition, architecture develpment, interface definition, and verification across the Sentinel ground system, using model-based engineering tools and MBSE practices. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience; 6+ years with a Masters; 4+ years with a PhD
U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance at time of application
Ability to obtain SAP approval in a reasonable period
2+ years of requirements management/analysis/allocations
2+ years MBSE practices and tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDraw)
2+ years experience with C2, security, NC3, or related systems

Responsibilities

Lead a small team of systems engineers to develop engineering artifacts for Sentinel ground system communications networks
Develop and mature architecture content for large programs
Incorporate requirements into the system model and manage traceability
Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture
Contribute to system requirements development and analysis
Develop model development processes and tool integration
