Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 3/4) for the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. The role focuses on SEIT verification, requirements decomposition, and MBSE coordination across multiple engineering teams.

Prior DOORS experience and a DoD Secret clearance are required. The position offers a 9/80 work schedule and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience using DOORS and MBSE tools to decompose, allocate and verify requirements.
• Strong understanding of system engineering requirement decomposition and verification within a national defense program.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application, with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Experience working with MBSE tools and DoD/industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate Sentinel system engineering strategy for requirements verification.
• Coordinate verification status with SEIT leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Manage system level information using MBSE tools and models.
• Collaborate with US Government stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
