Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. The role emphasizes SEIT compliance strategy, requirements allocation, and MBSE tooling, with a close interface to government stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

The successful candidate will manage system-level requirements, decompose them into lower levels, and maintain traceability under DoD standards, in a 9/80 schedule and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• 5 years with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD (or equivalent).
• 3+ years’ experience developing requirements in DOORS (Principal).
• 3+ years’ experience developing requirements in DOORS (Sr. Principal).

Responsibilities

• Support the program requirements lead to develop and maintain the system level requirement specification.
• Collaborate with program SMEs and teams to ensure lower-level requirements are decomposed.
• Manage system level information using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
• Coordinate with US Government stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.
