Job summary

Raytheon in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) discipline, supporting LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars across the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.

You will lead requirements, develop tests, analyze data, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure the system meets performance, reliability, and security standards; travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems software, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or test.
• Experience developing scripts and functions with MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, algorithms, concepts of operations, and system interfaces.
• Lead testing efforts with plans, procedures, integration, and verification docs.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
• Model and simulate to predict performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality.
• Document integration plans, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
