Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States seeks a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to lead system integration efforts within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions team.

The role supports electrophysiology projects across hospital environments and spans characterization, testing, and field deployment. Based in either Mounds View, MN or Newton, MA, the position follows an onsite work model with a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• OR Master’s with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• OR PhD with 6 years of relevant experience
• Advanced Systems Engineering experience defining systems architecture
• Medical device experience

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-functional development teams in the creation of integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents.
• Develop expertise in the application of systems engineering principles and identify opportunities for applying systems engineering within work assigned to the team.
• Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education in technical questions.
• Propose and implement changes to improve systems and/or processes.
