Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to join our Sentinel program. This role is based in Roy, UT; Colorado Springs, CO; or Manhattan Beach, CA, supporting ICBM ground and launch control systems.

You will lead systems engineering baseline maturation, mentor a cross-disciplinary team, and apply model-based and digital engineering across the lifecycle. U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related engineering experience with degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
• 5+ years of Systems engineering experience across the program lifecycle.
• 2+ years MBSE experience.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based environments, HPC, and virtualized environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering baseline maturation for the Sentinel program.
• Mentor a small cross-disciplinary team under Lead Systems Engineers.
• Apply MBSE and digital engineering across the lifecycle.
• Support complex systems lifecycle management and integration.
