Onsite in Cedar Rapids, you will mentor engineers and lead cross-domain integration efforts across classified and unclassified environments.

The role requires a SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a STEM background with 8+ years (or 5 with advanced degree) of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, integration, and verification/validation
  • Experience working in air-gapped CUI or secure lab environment
  • Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, architecture and design, primarily focusing on the Integration and Testing phases of systems development
  • Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation for Integration and Test
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions
  • Lead Test Readiness Reviews with Customer and Certification Agencies
  • Collaborate with Systems Architects, Product Owners, Chief Engineers, to generate Integration and Test Environments and Plans
  • Lead Verification, Validation, and Qualification efforts in both Unclassified and Classified environments
  • Support multiple programs simultaneously, mentoring junior engineers on Integration, Validation, Verification, and Qualification

The High Assurance Devices Engineering team seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer- Integration and Test Lead with a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. The Integration and Test lead is a leader who is responsible for ensuring the successful verification and validation for High Assurance Devices across the department. This role will contribute to a team responsible for systems and cyber security engineering tasks related to our next-generation security-enabled mission computing, crypto, and cross-domain technologies, maturing products from low TRL through a program of record accreditation and factory production.

What You Will Do

  • Experience with automated software build, test, and deployment
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipeline tools
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, experience presenting test metrics to program leadership
  • Experienced with generating Integration and Test Plans for Embedded Systems and Digital Hardware
  • Experience with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO or similar
  • Experience working with a certification authority
