Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aurora, CO is seeking engineers to lead an Agile software team on the HBMAS Sustainment and Development program. This onsite role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S.

citizenship. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-enabled data ingest systems, ensure security and data integrity, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management, QA, security, and operations to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile software development teams and delivering with cadence.
• Ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain team velocity and predictability.
• Experience using Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to identify and remove blockers to team progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications.
• Architect scalable solutions and ensure alignment with modern engineering practices.
• Drive code quality through reviews, automated testing, CI, and secure SDLC.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce security standards across development lifecycles.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, security, and operations to deliver reliable software.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
