Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Translational Research group in Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Principal Scientist/Associate Director to lead biomarker and translational science across pre-NME through late clinical development in prostate cancer.

You will design and execute biomarker strategies, coordinate cross-functional activities, and translate biological insights into actionable clinical strategies, influencing trial design and patient stratification.

Qualifications

PhD in biomedical sciences with postdoc training.
Minimum 3 years biopharma drug development after postdoc.
Experience designing biomarker strategies in clinical trials.
Strong translational oncology and biomarker science background.
Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead translational research and biomarker strategy for prostate cancer programs.
Design biomarker plans aligned with MOA and clinical development objectives (PD, TE, response, resistance).
Coordinate biomarker activities across internal labs, CROs and external collaborators.
Integrate translational research with clinical development and governance discussions.
Translate biomarker data into actionable clinical strategies and regulatory discussions.
