Job summary

Myoventive, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior to Principal Scientist to drive cell-based discovery and pharmacology for cardiovascular programs. This hands-on role requires designing and executing in vitro studies and managing platform development across antibody-oligonucleotide conjugate programs.

You will culture diverse mammalian cells, including iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, optimize assays (qPCR, ddPCR, western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry), and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• PhD required in biology, biomedical sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience for Senior Scientist; 8+ years for Principal Scientist.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of cells, especially cardiomyocytes.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vitro studies to support platform development and drug discovery.
• Culture, maintain, and treat mammalian cells including iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot RT-qPCR, ddPCR, western blot, ELISA, and flow cytometry/FACS assays.
• Analyze and communicate research findings to guide decision-making and planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support planning and analysis of in vivo studies.
• Supervise and train research associates to support in vitro studies.
