Responsibilities

• Evaluate pre-clinical and translational work for early clinical development plans and INDs.
• Develop clinical development strategies for oncology drugs.
• Plan clinical trials including design and operational plans.
• Monitor ongoing or new clinical trials for oncology drugs.
• Analyze and summarize clinical findings to support safety and efficacy decisions.
• Participate in internal/external research project teams.
• Supervise Clinical Scientists in study execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regulatory, statistics, manufacturing).
• Inform leadership on study progress and expert opinions.
• Stay aware of scientific developments and new methodologies.
• Identify investigators for development of drugs.
• Establish communications with clinical investigators.
• Attend scientific meetings to maintain competency.
• Author development documents, presentations, budgets, position papers.
• Facilitate collaborations with external researchers.
• Travel ~20% for ongoing/completed projects.
