Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a Senior Scientist specialized in bioanalytical mass spectrometry to support oncology drug discovery, focusing on small molecule therapeutics and radioligand therapeutics.

You will develop LC-MS/MS methods, perform quantitative bioanalysis, and collaborate with ADME leaders while mentoring junior staff and troubleshooting instrumentation as part of a dynamic discovery team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years or master’s with 5+ years in chemistry, bioengineering, or related field.
• Experience with high-resolution and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, sample prep, and bioanalysis for small and large molecules.
• Strong understanding of ADME principles.

Role: Senior scientist specializing in bioanalytical mass spectrometry to support Lilly’s oncology drug discovery, focusing on small molecule therapeutics, particularly radioligand therapeutics (RLT), with potential expansion into antibody-drug conjugates (ADC).

Responsibilities

• develop and validate LC-MS/MS methods, perform quantitative bioanalysis from in-vitro and in-vivo samples, investigate pharmacokinetics, biodistribution, biotransformation, and metabolite identification;
• collaborate closely with ADME project leaders;
• mentor junior staff;
• troubleshoot instrumentation.

Requirements

• bachelor’s degree with 7+ years or master’s with 5+ years in chemistry, bioengineering, or related field;
• extensive experience with high-resolution and triple quadrupole mass spectrometers, sample prep, and bioanalysis for small and large molecules;
• strong understanding of ADME principles.
