Job Description
Engage in customer technical discussions and presentations and support the completion of Information Security Questionnaires in order to help Nuance progress and secure new and existing business. Focus on ensuring a single-customer experience with clear information that provides customer confidence in meeting objectives. Direct support of mid-market sales executives for pre-sales support needs.
General duties and responsibilities:
- Consultative selling and maintain the role of trusted technical advisor to our partners.
- Consults with existing and potential partners to assess and understand solution needs, clinical workflows and requirements.
- Facilitate technical discussions during the partner enabling process with the customer’s Product Development, Technical and Security stakeholders, ensuring the collection and documentation of pre-defined data elements.
- Facilitate interaction with the following Nuance teams: Sales, Customer Success Organization, Technical Support, Product Management and R&D.
- Maintain a full working knowledge of all Nuance Healthcare solutions (and cloud infrastructure).
- Maintain responsibility for supporting assigned Partner Accounts and the Nuance Account managers.
- Contribute to organizational process improvement, including processes related to developing use cases and knowledge management. Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing.
- Experience and knowledge within EHR vendor solutions such as Epic, Cerner, Dedalus, CGM etc. and RIS/PACs vendor solutions as Carestream/Philips, GE, etc.
- Functional knowledge of interfacing standards leveraged in the Healthcare Industry such as HL7, APIs, and FHIR.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Azure SaaS Cloud delivery and consumption/billing models.
Required skills and education:
- University degree of Science IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
- Native or equivalent English.
- Minimum of 12 years of related technical Healthcare/Clinical experience.
- Maintain proficient knowledge around healthcare standards, concepts, and protocols.
- Consults with internal privacy and security stakeholders and leadership experts.
- Participate/Lead in active working sessions and processes improvements along with team enablement.
- Established role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Healthcare vertical to include responsibilities such as building relationships with Product Management, attending product team calls, and ownership of education and training of Sales Engineering related updates.
- Lead both mentoring and training of newly hired employees along with continued education of existing employees.
- Ability to manage cross-functionally under tight timelines.
- Examine and resolve barriers and improve opportunities.
- Able to interact and converse on relevant healthcare IT concepts.
- Exceptional competence in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Teams, and Excel along with OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Competence and Experience leveraging Salesforce as the central hub for Sales process.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
Preferred skills:
- Broad knowledge of Nuance Healthcare solutions portfolio.
- Additional languages: German.
- Work experience in indirect business models - B2B.
