RTX's BBN Technologies unit seeks a highly qualified RF Signal Processing Research Scientist to tackle challenging problems for the DoD, IC, and industry by prototyping sensing systems and delivering actionable information from real sensor data.

You will work on statistical signal processing, cyclostationary methods, adaptive filtering, RF propagation and SAR techniques, and ML-based optimization, collaborating with a team to advance state‑of‑the‑art research and transition results into fielded

Qualifications

MS or PhD with extensive research in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics.
Experience with signal processing including estimation and detection.
Active government TS/SCI clearance required.
Willingness to travel overnight.
Experience leading small teams and communicating with government customers.

Responsabilités

Statistical signal processing and estimation techniques such as Bayesian/non-Bayesian estimators.
Detection techniques including Neyman-Pearson and ROC analysis.
Cyclostationary signal processing and circular statistics.
Adaptive signal processing: LMS/RLS, Kalman and particle filtering.
RF propagation, SAR, and direction finding; estimation of bistatic RCS.
Machine learning and optimization for sensing and control.
