Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Real-World Analyst to conduct analyses for Real-World Evidence studies using claims, EMR, and registry data.

You will report to the head of RWD/A within the Global Evidence & Value Generation team and ensure scientific rigor and timely delivery of study outputs. The role requires a PhD or MS with experience in biopharma, proficiency in SQL and R, familiarity with coding systems, and ability to develop dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or related discipline.
• 4+ years for MS, 2+ years for PhD in biopharma, RWE consulting, or healthcare industries
• Extensive hands-on experience with Flatiron and Optum data (≥2 years)
• Proficiency in SQL and R; Python knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, MedDRA coding systems
• Experience with time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal analyses
• Experience with Snowflake; PowerBI knowledge is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct and audit RWE analyses across multiple RWD sources
• Collaborate with RWA lead to meet study and report timelines
• Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methods
• Clean, validate, and document data and outputs
• Document programming codes and operational definitions for reproducibility
• Develop reports, presentations and dashboards to communicate insights
• Support in designing RWA standards to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Stay current with evolving RWA methodologies and visualization tools
