RTX Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr Principal Software Security Engineer to develop real-time missile software using C/C++. The role involves embedded design, security implementations, and collaboration with Systems Security Engineering to meet DoD program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 10+ years of software experience recommended.
• Experience with C/C++ and embedded OS
• Security clearance eligibility required (U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time software design and performance implications for System Security implementations.
• Involve with application and embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of missile software.
• Apply System Security principles to design and implement missile software applications.
• Develop software using C and C++ on multiple computing platforms.
• Review how the position’s work affects the overall missile system and provide source-level solutions.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Operate in a common development environment to support program capabilities.
• Interface with customer community to review design and assist verification.
