Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Project Manager to support the NACS BU across OUs at the Woodland Hills, CA site. You will manage concurrent projects, build schedules, track budgets, and deliver executive-level briefings.

This on-site role emphasizes coordination across engineering, operations, and finance to meet program goals. The position offers potential for growth within NGMS, with a salary range highlighted for primary and senior levels and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or master’s with 3+ years.
• 2+ years of project or program management experience with schedules, milestones, cost and risk.
• 2+ years using MS Office to develop plans, reports, analyses, or presentations.
• 1+ year coordinating cross-functional projects across two or more functions.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks across multiple projects and drive progress to closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, milestones, and metrics with owners.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality.
• Identify risks and devise resolutions and green-path plans.
• Prepare regular status reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Support budgets and forecasts, including EAC and variance explanations.
• Develop executive-level presentations for site and BU leadership.
