Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Principal Strategist, Strategy & Planning to guide a major technology operations and planning function within the Hospitals & Medical Centers space, with a focus on operating model transformation and workforce strategy.

This role partners with domain leaders and executives to align organization design, skills planning, and delivery priorities while overseeing financial controls, supplier spend, and enterprise reporting in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in technology, particularly in infrastructure, cloud, or IT operations.
• Proven management of a technology operating budget of $150M or greater.
• Experience overseeing a technology supplier portfolio with annual spend of $250M or more.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a global workforce plan of 500+ employees and contractors.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments such as SOX, HIPAA, and GxP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of the organization to a product operating model across multiple domains.
• Define and maintain the product taxonomy and partner with domain leaders on role redesign.
• Own the global workforce plan, including position management and talent strategy alignment.
• Govern requisition approvals and maintain a rolling view of skills supply and demand.
• Manage the delivery portfolio, including prioritization and executive reporting.
• Oversee the operating and capital plan, ensuring financial controls are in place.
• Run the enterprise hardware and software spend reduction program, targeting a 5-10% reduction.
