Job summary

Worley’s Monrovia, CA office is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer to lead and deliver complex process design work across refinery and oil and gas projects. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, develop front-end designs, and perform advanced simulations to optimize performance.

You will mentor engineers, review technical deliveries, ensure compliance with local and international standards, and support procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing medium/large process teams.
• Front-end design capability with conceptual design and process simulation.
• Ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate work to Worley and clients.
• Knowledge of local and international standards and regulatory specs.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and approve Process deliverables: HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs and hydraulics calculations.
• Conduct Process studies as needed.
• Mentor junior Process Engineers.
• Review requisitions and technical bid evaluations; support other disciplines.
• Ensure project scope clarity and changes align with change management processes.
• Act as Process Engineering Lead on specific projects.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the Customer.
