Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Project Manager to lead complex programs onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL or Sunnyvale, CA. You will manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams, interfacing with DoD customers and internal teams to ensure program success.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, generating basis of estimate proposals, and tracking progress with Earned Value Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of PM experience or Master's with 6 years or PhD with 4 years.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups or customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Serve as liaison between project management, planning, and line management.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules; prepare status reports.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet goals and client satisfaction.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving with teams.
• Coordinate IPT agendas and participate in customer teleconferences.
• Support EVM, schedules, and government contract coordination.
• Interface with Global Supply Chain and DoD/ Govt customers as required.
