Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) seeks a Principal Technical Services Project Manager at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

You will lead and manage assigned programs, serving as liaison between customer, government agencies, and internal teams within the Launcher Program Office on Merritt Island. The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and SAP MRP, plus the ability to obtain a US Government Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; OR 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree.
• Prior experience in Program/Project Management.
• Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Business Management, Field Operations, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project and SAP MRP (or similar) system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage activities of assigned programs/projects.
• Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders/customers.
• Maintain and review status of project activities to ensure cost, schedule, and technical commitments are being met.
• Assess project/technical issues and develop corrective actions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications and design requirements.
• Lead status review sessions with internal management and customer to discuss status of project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develop and maintain schedules, risk registers, lessons learned, status reports and other project documentation to document project execution and performance.
• Monitors status of procurement and production hardware for assigned projects.
