Job summary

MSD in Rockville, MD seeks a Senior Principal Solutions Architect for PLM and Digital Thread. You will shape enterprise PLM strategy, govern governance, and drive a multi-year roadmap aligning product design, manufacturing, and regulatory operations.

You will lead architecture of Siemens Teamcenter X deployments, manage integrations with MES and JD Edwards ERP, and mentor teams to elevate internal PLM capabilities across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 14+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, PLM, or engineering systems leadership.
• 10+ years leading large-scale PLM implementations and business transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM, including implementations and administration across versions.
• Experience designing integrations between PLM and MES/ERP systems.
• Experience in FDA-regulated or GxP environments with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the enterprise PLM and Digital Thread vision, strategy, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap.
• Architect, configure, and implement PLM solutions (Teamcenter X) to support engineering, quality, and manufacturing processes.
• Lead architecture reviews and approve solution designs impacting enterprise systems.
• Drive strategic roadmap planning for Teamcenter X and related platforms.
• Design and maintain integrations between Teamcenter X, MES, and ERP systems (JD Edwards).
• Provide ongoing operational support for Teamcenter X and its integrated systems.
