• 15+ years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale, distributed, full-stack systems.
• 5+ years operating at Principal level or above with organization-wide technical scope.
• Track record of defining multi-year technical strategies that materially changed the trajectory of a business.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year technical vision and architecture for foundational platform services.
• Set company-wide architectural direction, standards, and patterns to solve high-leverage problems across engineering.
• Mentor and grow Principal and Staff engineers and drive architectural reviews and forums.
• Define Procore's approach to AI-native engineering and evangelize adoption across teams.
