Job summary

Ministry Brands is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to define long-term technical vision and architecture for our background screening platform. You will lead multiple teams, shaping scalable, secure cloud-native solutions using .NET and Azure while mentoring engineers and guiding architecture decisions.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Security to ensure reliable, compliant software delivery, and drive CI/CD improvements to accelerate releases while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Expert-level proficiency with C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Azure SQL.
• Strong experience with Azure services, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence across teams.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and scalable, secure software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and engineering standards across multiple applications and services.
• Lead design of scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using .NET and Azure.
• Mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to translate objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment reliability and speed across teams.
