Job summary

Ministry Brands is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in a hybrid role, based near Alpharetta, GA. You will define long-term technical vision, architecture, and platform direction for our background screening solutions, working with product, security, and DevOps teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and champion engineering excellence across multiple teams to deliver scalable and secure software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and engineering standards across applications and services.
• Lead design of scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions using .NET and Azure.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices across teams.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business objectives into scalable tech solutions.
