Job summary

Raytheon Vision Systems seeks a Senior Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team in Goleta, CA or Phoenix, AZ. You will contribute to ROIC/READOUT IC development for advanced image sensors, collaborating across architecture, design, verification, and fabrication.

The role requires extensive experience in mixed-signal IC design, CMOS processes, and leadership, with a hybrid work arrangement and strong interaction with government and customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and extensive relevant experience (roughly 7–10+ years).
• Experience leading program development in commercial/defense/space sectors.
• Proficient in semiconductor device physics, processing, and analog/mixed-signal design.
• Proficient in full-custom CMOS IC design at transistor level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and characterize ROICs for advanced sensing systems.
• Evaluate design flow from synthesis to verification and timing.
• Design analog/digital interfaces and low-noise, mixed-signal blocks.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate status and brief stakeholders at senior levels.
