Raytheon is seeking a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join the Goleta team. You will collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment to develop cutting-edge image sensor products, participating in ROIC/ASIC development with cross-functional groups.

The role emphasizes full-custom CMOS IC design, analog/digital interfaces, and verification across design, simulation, fabrication, and test. Onsite in Goleta, CA, with a strong focus on leadership, schedules, and delivering robust

Qualifications

• Experience with full-custom CMOS IC design at transistor level using IC design flows and tools.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Cadence and Mentor Graphics, plus MATLAB and scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with UNIX-based software design tools for circuit simulation, noise analysis, and physical design.
• Experience with SystemVerilog/Real Modelling/Verilog-AMS and RTL coding.
• Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal interfaces, lithography, and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and verification of read-out ICs (ROICs) for visible and infrared focal plane arrays.
• Evaluate the design flow from synthesis to place-and-route, timing, and power.
• Define module interfaces for system and simulation; guide major design tasks.
