Job summary

Raytheon Vision Systems seeks a Senior Principal Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join the design team in a hybrid role based in Goleta, CA or Phoenix, AZ. You will collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment to develop cutting-edge image sensor products and ROICs.

You will design mixed-signal ICs, evaluate process flows, and lead teams across architecture, layout, simulation, and verification while communicating progress to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience leading program development for commercial, defense, and/or space industries to complete designs on schedule and within allocated budget.
• Experience with semiconductor device physics, semiconductor processing, linear IC design, simulation, layout, and testing.
• Experience in full-custom CMOS IC design at the transistor level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and characterization of ROICs for advanced sensing systems.
• Evaluate process flow from design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power use; define architecture interfaces for simulation.
• Design mixed-signal ICs for image sensors, including analog signal chain, digital timing, and on-chip ADCs.
