Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Principal, Medical Science Liaison to join our Research & Development team. The role is remote in the US with 75% travel and will handle the VitRet portfolio.

You will present scientific information, engage with medical experts and key opinion leaders, and drive investigator trials. Collaboration with Med Info, Regulatory, and Marketing supports product development and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
• 7 years of relevant experience in medical science liaison or related role preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with medical experts and key opinion leaders.
• Support evidence-based scientific exchange to drive product adoption and external insights.
• Provide general medical information to practitioners and internal teams; respond to unsolicited medical information requests.
• Engage in scientific discussions around product data and oversee investigator-initiated trials from inception to publication.
