Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) Harness and Interconnect team in Tucson, AZ. The role emphasizes autonomous design, verification, and collaboration on tactical missile systems under DoD clearance requirements.

You will leverage Creo 3D modeling, GD&T, and ECAD concepts while coordinating with engineers to deliver robust harness solutions through the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree with 5+ years experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing and/or modifying harness and/or interconnect devices.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously apply expert knowledge in harness and interconnect design to support PCAS programs.
• Engage in detailed mechanical design, test design/execution, systems engineering, and proposals/estimates.
• Adapt responsibilities to meet changing organizational needs and project requirements.
