Overview
This is a senior leadership role in a top MEP consulting firm based in New York, focused on driving growth, technical excellence, and mentorship across high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical engineering discipline on high-value, multi-million-dollar MEP projects across healthcare, life sciences, aviation, mission-critical, and commercial towers.
- Act as a primary client interface, building and maintaining high-value relationships that generate repeat business.
- Develop and execute discipline-wide technical standards and innovation strategies.
- Mentor, develop, and expand a high-performing mechanical engineering team.
- Represent the firm in key industry forums, bid presentations, and high-stakes negotiations.
- Collaborate directly with the C-suite to set growth strategy and target marquee projects.
What’s Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
- NY PE or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 15+ years in mechanical engineering within a consulting MEP environment, with 5+ years at Principal or equivalent leadership level.
- Proven portfolio of landmark, technically complex projects in major sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to bring in major clients and secure high-value projects.
- Inspirational leadership style with excellent communication and influencing skills.
