Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a senior cybersecurity professional to support the US BICES-X program. You will coordinate with government stakeholders and provide leadership on risk management, compliance, and security evaluations for DoD networks.

Responsibilities include RMF implementation, vulnerability assessments, policy development, and audits, ensuring secure operation of classified systems with Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01M requirements for IAT Level II (e.g. CASP CE).
• Understanding of DoD RMF (800-53 Rev 4 and Rev 5).
• Understanding of DoW policies and procedures including FIPS 199, FIPS 200, NIST 800-53.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (must be maintained).

Responsibilities

• Performs Cybersecurity activities for a large program; coordinates with government staff and agencies to assist in policy, standards, and procedures.
• Utilize resources to conduct Cybersecurity activities and report on overall program security posture.
• Conduct network and system audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs, DISA SCAP, and vulnerability scanners.
• Create, track and review POA&Ms and conduct solution identification for remediation.
• Communicate threat information to Government leaders to aid cyber risk decisions.
• Carry out RMF assessments and security testing to determine security posture.
• Maintain the Security Accreditation status for DoW networks and interconnected systems.
• Coordinate with AFRL and USAF for audits; provide required documentation.
